Last year, Democrats and Republicans in Congress came together to pass the GENIUS Act. This law created the first-ever national regulatory framework for stablecoins and, importantly, Congress chose to protect crypto owners' ability to earn rewards on their stablecoins.

In the bipartisan CLARITY Act and draft legislation recently put forward in the Senate, lawmakers also chose to include developer protections – providing guidelines so that American developers have the certainty to innovate responsibly, without fear of being punished for simply writing code.

Now, the Senate is working to finalize market structure legislation, which would create clear rules of the road for all digital assets in the United States. However, provisions that protect your ability to earn rewards are being targeted. We must stand up for community and the technology that we believe in.
