Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes the types of data that Stand With Crypto Alliance, Inc. (including Stand with Crypto Alliance, Inc. Political Action Committee) and Stand With Crypto International Ltd (together, “SWC”) collect from you and about you when you visit our website or otherwise engage with SWC or its services. This Privacy Policy also explains how SWC may use such data as well as your rights and choices regarding such information, including the right to object to certain types of processing we carry out. If you live in the USA, Stand With Crypto Alliance, Inc. is the data controller of your personal data.
If you live outside of the USA, including in the United Kingdom, EEA, Canada or Australia, Stand with Crypto International Ltd, the Stand With Crypto global advocacy group, is the data controller of your personal data. If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area (“EEA”) , please read the Supplemental Disclosures for Residents of the UK and (“EEA”) section of the Privacy Policy.
If you reside outside of the UK and the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), accessing and using our Services means that you accept this Privacy Policy and its terms.
About SWC
Stand With Crypto Alliance, Inc. is a 501(c)(4) organization whose mission is to unite crypto advocates, forming a passionate community committed to driving sensible crypto innovation and crypto policy.
Stand With Crypto International Ltd is a mission-driven organization to rally crypto advocates outside of the United States to create a community of innovative businesses and creators which operate in and promote a flourishing crypto and blockchain ecosystem that is driving economic growth. Its communities of champions advocate for their country to emerge as a world leader in fintech, digital assets and tokenization.
Data Collection
Categories of Personal Data Collected: SWC may collect personal data from or about you in a variety of ways:
- We may collect your personal data when you provide it to us, for example, when you sign up to be a member or subscriber of SWC, create a user account on our website, donate money to SWC, sign-up for an SWC-related event, or otherwise engage with and provide data to SWC. This data may include your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and any other personal data you choose to share with us.
- We may collect your personal data when you or your organization requests to be a SWC Open Source Partner. This data may include your name, email address, title, information about your organization (including website and social media handles), and any other personal data you choose to share with us.
- We may also request and collect—at your direction—your crypto wallet address for various transactions, including to mint NFTs. Providing your crypto wallet address is voluntary.
- Based on your engagement with SWC, we may also collect personal data in other circumstances. For example:
- Donations: If you choose to make a donation to Stand With Crypto Alliance, Inc. or Stand with Crypto Alliance, Inc. Political Action Committee, we may ask you to confirm if you are a U.S. citizen, in accordance with the law. This data may be considered to be sensitive data. We will keep records of your donation, including your name, address, occupation, and employer. We may also keep track of donations you make to like-minded organizations and individuals that you link to through our website.
- SWC Advocacy Activities: We may collect data about your activity performed as a SWC member, subscriber, or user—including joining SWC, donating, attending an event, minting an NFT, and engaging with elected officials and policymakers, among other activities.
- SWC Community Activity on Third-Party Platforms: We may collect data about your SWC-related activity on other platforms, such as participating in SWC community chat groups or engaging with or posting about SWC on social media platforms.
- Applications: If you submit an application—for example, to apply for legal consultations through our Creator Legal Defense Fund—we collect the personal information you voluntarily submit as part of your application.
Sources of Personal Data: SWC may collect your personal data from you through the SWC website, SWC’s service providers’ websites or applications (e.g., SWC’s event registration, email, marketing, and analytics service providers and partners), or SWC-related communities, accounts, or channels on social media platforms; through SWC-related events, or through other channels where you choose to share data with SWC. SWC also partners with Coinbase and other like-minded organizations and may collect personal data about you from those partners, including your activity with those entities. SWC may also obtain publicly available contact information from third party data providers.
Data Automatically Collected: We may also automatically collect data as you navigate through our website or engage with our content or advertising on other sites, through the use of cookies or similar technologies. Data collected automatically may include website usage and navigation details, IP addresses, and other technical data. We may partner with analytics and marketing service providers to assist us with this data collection.
Data Use
Purposes for which Personal Data Is Collected and Processed: SWC may use the data described above for a variety of purposes, including to:
- Provide our website and its content;
- Provide information or content related to SWC's mission, initiatives, advocacy, and business;
- Provide services that you request or apply for;
- Facilitate and keep track of your SWC-related efforts, including helping to set up or get you registered for events and helping you contact elected officials and policymakers;
- Coordinate with you as a SWC Open Source Partner;
- Communicate with you (for example, via texts, calls, emails, and newsletters) about updates and/or opportunities for engagement related to SWC’s mission, initiatives, advocacy, and business;
- Track, analyze, and improve your engagement with SWC and its advertisements, website, events, services, advocacy, and initiatives;
- Respond to inquiries or fulfill any other purpose for which you provide information;
- Engage in fundraising and track contribution information;
- Administer rewards, contests, sweepstakes, promotions, and surveys;
- Deposit non-fungible tokens (“NFT”) into your crypto wallet;
- Monitor and analyze your use of our website, optimize or improve our website and operations, and/or personalize content and experiences on our website;
- Perform statistical, demographic, and marketing analyses;
- Provide you with advertising, which may include advertising based on your activity on our website or activity on third party sites and applications;
- Communicate with you about changes to our policies;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies or be illegal;
- Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our websites, databases, and other technology assets, as well as our physical offices and business generally;
- Respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations; and
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
Online Analytics & Targeted Advertising: SWC may use online identifiers for targeted online advertising and analytics. Specifically, we disclose certain online identifiers to advertising partners and analytics providers, which under certain state laws may be considered to be a sale. See below for information about opting out of these activities.
Retargeting: SWC may use your personal data for remarketing campaigns. This is a type of online advertising that directs advertising to individuals that have previously interacted with us. See below for information about opting out of these activities.
Data Sharing
SWC may share the personal data described above as follows:
- With our service providers, contractors, and partners (e.g., SWC’s event registration, email, marketing, and analytics service providers and partners), including (1) to coordinate communications and other outreach to you and to elected officials and policymakers; (2) to coordinate, facilitate, and otherwise perform functions related to SWC-related events, services, and initiatives; (3) with partnering law firms if you submit an application for the Creator Legal Defense Fund; and (4) for analytics and marketing.
- With partners—such as Coinbase and other like-minded organizations—to support SWC’s efforts. As examples, SWC may share data about you and/or your activities with these partners when you choose to receive your membership NFT in your crypto wallet; or when you perform SWC-related activities, such as making a call to an elected official or policymaker.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- If we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such data is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our policies including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of SWC, our users, or the public.
- With elected officials and policymakers, when you direct us to facilitate your communications to them.
- Otherwise with your consent or direction. As an example, if you choose to set up a user account on the SWC website, we will share your SWC advocacy activities with the broader SWC community on our public website. You can choose whether your activity is shared “anonymously.”
SWC's Texting Program
With your opt-in consent, SWC may send you recurring automated text/SMS messages at the phone number you provide to us. These texts will include information about SWC's efforts to fulfill its mission to unite global crypto advocates, forming a passionate community committed to driving sensible crypto innovation and crypto policy. Opt-in consent for text messages is not shared with any third party, except telecommunication technology providers (e.g. aggregators and providers of text message services).

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undeliverable messages.

Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Texting: As detailed above, you may reply STOP to opt-out of automated text messages about SWC's efforts.
Emails: You may opt-out of receiving certain emails from us by following the opt-out instructions in the footer of our emails.
Cookies: You can control and/or delete or disable cookies through our Cookie Preference & Privacy Choices tool, or by adjusting your browser settings. Browsers are different, so refer to instructions related to your browser to learn about cookie-related and other privacy and security settings that may be available. Please be aware, however, that if you turn off cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the features of our website.
Online Analytics and Targeted Advertising: To exercise your right to opt out of SWC’s online analytics and targeted advertising activities, described above, you or your authorized agent (as applicable) may:
- Use our Cookie Preference & Privacy Choices tool—which you can find in the footer of our website—at any time. To opt-out of SWC’s online analytics and targeted advertising, disable the “Targeting & Analytical” cookies.

USA Privacy Rights
If you live in the USA, we offer you the following rights, subject to the requirements under any applicable state law:
- To confirm whether or not we process your personal data and to access or obtain a copy (as applicable) of such personal data;
- To provide additional information about specific third-party disclosures (e.g., categories or specific third parties, as required by law);
- To correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
- To delete your personal data;
- To obtain a copy of your personal data; and
- To opt-out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data, or to opt out of certain automated profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you (which SWC does not engage in).
- Exercising your USA Privacy Rights
- To exercise your right to opt out of SWC’s online analytics and targeted advertising activities, you or your authorized agency may utilize our Cookie Preference & Privacy Choices tool and/or download and enable the GPC–as detailed above.
- To exercise your other USA privacy rights listed above or to opt-out of SWCs re-targeting activities, you can send an email to info@standwithcrypto.org or contact us at our toll-free phone number (302) 566-8028. In your communication, please indicate your state of residency and specify the right you are exercising (e.g., request to delete, request to correct, request to opt-out of re-targeting, etc.). We will work to verify your request as applicable using reasonable means; if we are unable to do so, we may ask you follow-up questions. To protect your personal data, when submitting your request, please provide information sufficient for us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal data and to properly understand, evaluate and respond to your request. Note, we may deny your request in whole or in part if we cannot verify your identity.
- You may have a right to appeal our decision with regard to your request. To do so, please send an email to info@standwithcrypto.org with the word "Appeal" in the subject line.
Privacy Rights and choices outside the USA
If you are located outside of the USA, depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you have the following rights, in certain circumstances and subject to certain restrictions, in relation to your personal data:
- access a copy of your personal data held by us;
- request rectification of your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
- request to restrict our use of your personal data in certain circumstances;
- move (or port) personal data which you have given us to process. You can choose to receive your personal data in a usable electronic format or request direct transmission to a third party, subject to that third party’s cooperation;
- withdraw your consent at any time (to the extent that we rely on consent as a lawful basis for processing of your personal data; and
- object to the processing of your data where our legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interests.

However, these rights may not be exercised in certain circumstances, such as when the processing of your data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for the exercise or defence of legal claims.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint about our practices with respect to your personal information with the supervisory authority of your country or state. We retain your information as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or others’ interests.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to our website. Any transmission of personal data to SWC is at your own risk.

Information About Minors
Our website and services are intended for adult use only. We do not direct any part of our website or services to children less than 18 years old and anyone under 18 is not eligible to use our services. Revisions
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the change(s) on the SWC website. If we change the Privacy Policy in a material way, we will provide appropriate notice to you.

Supplemental Disclosures for Residents of the UK and EEA
These supplemental disclosures contain additional information relevant to residents of the UK and EEA. This content should be read in conjunction with the rest of our Privacy Policy. In case of conflict between our Privacy Policy and these supplemental disclosures, the supplemental disclosures shall prevail in relation to residents of the UK and EEA.
Legal Basis
In the UK and EEA, we require a legal basis to process your personal data. We rely on different legal bases depending on why we are processing your personal data:

- Legitimate Interests: Where there is no legally enforceable contract in place, or where the processing is not strictly necessary, we can rely on legitimate interests to process your personal data. We rely on legitimate interests (ours, yours or those of another party) where they are not outweighed by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. You have the right to object to, and seek restriction of, processing based on legitimate interests.
- Compliance with a Legal Obligation: We may use your personal data where it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
- Vital Interests: We may process your personal data when necessary to protect vital interests of you or another person. "Vital interests" refers to matters of life and death or significant physical harm.
Data Transfers UK and EEA
Where we transfer your personal data, we do so in accordance with UK and EEA data protection law. If you are based in the UK and EEA, when your data is moved from your home country to a third country outside the UK and EEA some of these countries may not have the same data protection safeguards as your home country. We will put in place adequate protections to keep your data safe. For example, we’ll make sure that a contract with strict data protection safeguards is in place before we transfer your personal data.
